Continuing to Shape the Future – Golden Gate hosts the Bahrain Society of Engineers

Taking another stride towards shaping Bahrain’s architectural future, Golden Gate’s doors have remained open to welcome the Bahrain Society of Engineers at its project site in Bahrain Bay.

This initiative is part of Golden Gate’s strategy to complement the knowledge of tomorrow architects and engineers with real-world expertise to better prepare them for tomorrow.

The guests were welcomed by executives from Golden Gate, Aref Sadeq Design Consultants, Al Jameel Construction and senior architects and engineers at the project site. The visit included a detailed presentation of all the construction phases followed by a Q&A session and a tour of the project site for a live view of the work in progress.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Anas Al Kooheji, Executive Director at Golden Gate, commented: “Watching the enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge exhibited by our Bahraini students give us a sense of extreme pride. We are thrilled that this initiative has become so popular and that so many institutions want to take part.”

Mr. Al Kooheji continued, “We are working on delivering Bahrain’s next iconic landmark, but we can’t stop there. I believe we need to share our knowledge and teach our youth how we do what we’re doing so they can have a head start. We have a common future and we’re all in this together”.

Golden Gate places a high priority on CSR initiatives in hopes to contribute to a better future for the kingdom of Bahrain in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s vision 2030.
