GWC reports 8% growth in Q1 net profits

GWC, a leading provider supply chain solutions in the region, has posted net profits of QR54 million ($14.7 million) for the first quarter (Q1) of the year, reporting a growth of 8% compared with the Q1 2020 results of QR50 million.

The company gross revenues registered QR299 million, earnings per share of QR0.09, and total assets of QR4billion for the same period ending 31 March 2021.

“Qatar’s long-term objectives and plans haven’t changed in the face of the pandemic; as the leading logistics provider in the State of Qatar, GWC has succeeded in supplying the public and private sectors with lean, reliable and Class-A logistics and supply chain solutions that have kept the country running. We will continue expanding our capabilities and deliver under the most difficult circumstances,” said GWC Chairman Sheikh Abdullah Bin Fahad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani.

In Q1 2021, GWC has continued to deliver on the quality and level of service offered to its clients, maximizing the benefit of its proactive process improvement initiatives.
